Shalowm, Brothers. Sha’ul (Paul) addresses this matter of grace and the Law in Romans 6. Yes we are under grace, but the mistake is in thinking that being under grace somehow permits us to ignore or transgress the Towrah. This is not true. See Romans 6:1-2 and Verse 15. For clarity, Romans 6:15 reads: “What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid.” If we understand sin to be transgression of the Towrah (as it is biblically defined in 1 John 3:4), then it is pretty clear that being under grace does not mean that we are not to walk in obedience to the Towrah (see 1 John 2:3-6; John 14:15; Romans 2:13; Revelation 22:14 (KJV, not NIV); Romans 3:31). We do not save ourselves through obedience (that is the job of faith in Mashiyach), but we nonetheless keep the Law out of love for the Most High and His Son (John 14:15,21; 1 John 5:2-3). Hope this helps!
