There are approximately 40 million people still in active slavery worldwide. Almost 1/3 of which are children under the age of 25. Slavery is prevalent in mainly developing countries in Africa, South America, Arabia, India and Asia. And unfortunately, a lot of the slavery that happens in Africa is perpetrated against our people. There’s not much we as regular folk can do, due to the fact that this is an international criminal syndicate. Much like child sex trafficking, drug smuggling, weapons smuggling, human smuggling, illegal migration, etc.
You must understand sister, governments of entire nations are involved in the scandal. You really think that the Brazilian government doesn’t know what’s going on in the favelas with the drug cartels? Or that the Congolese government doesn’t know about the children as young as 7 being used to dig up gold and other minerals in mines, for little to no pay? They are the beneficiaries of this corrupt immoral system, so why would they stop the gravy train?
